It has been thirty years since rock-n-roll legend Jet James (CHRISTOPHER LLOYD) ruled the charts.  His life and health are in a downward spiral.  Now, his most prized possession, a Mustang convertible, is about to be repossessed by Bobby Moritz (CASPER VAN DIEN), a relentless yet charming debt collector.  Fate intervenes when he pumps into Jesse  (LAUREN GRAHAM), who just happens to be Jet's estranged daughter.  As Bobby begins to fall for Jesse, he can't keep his identity a secret.  Jet's life-long best friend, Nehemiah (ROGER DALTREY), Bobby sets out to convince Jesse that she is his destiny.
